It is reported that in some cases, the driver reported that they had to increase their effort to step on the brake pedal while in a few other reports, it is said that the stopping distance had increases. This issue might have something to do with the electric vacuum-assist pump that Ford had installed on the 2011 and 2012 model, the pump was switched to a new one when they started making the 2013 model.
