The Florida Times-Union won a Silver Medallion in the 24th annual International Automotive Media Competition on Sunday. The announcement came as the competition also announced its first tie for the Best of 2014 Award, shared by two works of automotive journalism: "Jeep 4. 0 Engines, How to Rebuild and Modify" by Larry Shepard, and "Ferrari Hypercars" by Winston... The awards were announced during the Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's, with 101 winners divided into 33 Gold Medallion awards, 31 Silver Medallions and 37 Bronze Medallions. The IAMC ceremony in Plymouth, Mi. also saw the winners of its 14th annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards, choosing the vehicles most likely to shape the future of the automobile industry out of 30 introduced during this... In the Production Preview Concept category, the winner was the new Ford GT, with the Aston Martin Vulcan and Buick Avenir as runners-up.
