"Two years ago, I was curious about the Ashley Madison website, and I used my personal credit card to sign up for the site. I deeply regret my affiliation with the site, which has caused a great amount of stress and heartache to my wife and children. Ashton denied using government equipment to connect to the site. "While I indulged my curiosity about the site, it never went beyond that," he said. I am proud of the work, and what we've accomplished thus far, but today I'm not very proud of myself. Ashley Madison, which is owned by Avid Life Media, is designed to help married people cheat on their spouses. Ashton is not the first person to be forced to apologize in the wake of the data dump.
