2 Round Rock Home Invasion Suspects Arrested In Hutto - KEYE TV

Two suspects in a Round Rock home invasion were arrested Wednesday in Hutto. Investigators say at around 2 p. m. Gilbert Wayne Flores, 29, and Joe Michael Zapata, 20, entered a Round Rock home in the 3900 block of Whitey Ford Way, pointed a gun at the resident and restrained him with duct tape. Police say the two men took numerous items and fled the scene in a maroon passenger vehicle. But the victim was able to provided investigators with information about the suspects' vehicle and was able to identify one of the suspects by name. Due to the high risk circumstances, Flores and Zapata were taken into custody after the Round Rock Police Department's SWAT team was dispatched to the location, police say. A stolen vehicle and property taken from the robbery in Round Rock were also recovered.
