New Hood Latch (missing big spring) Ford F150 Expedition 1997-2004 FO1234102.
I bought this just for the big spring (it broke) which I could not buy separately. I put this in originally, but thought the old Ford 20yr+ one was smoother. I took out the big spring from this and put it on my old hood latch.
= If you need a hood latch and your big spring is good then this maybe is for you. Heavy painted gloss black. Grease it up a bit for use.
It does work well (will need another big spring), but a hood latch 20yrs old is just much smoother after use. A little tricky getting these things in with the cable/adjustments etc.
