'Top Gear' (USA) Recap: 'What Does It Take' - Breaking Down Is Hard To Do - Starpulse.com

Unsurprisingly, Tanner jumps out to an early lead that he never relinquishes and Adam brings up the rear - by a lot. As the guys bounce (in Adam's case, literally) to their next destination, Tanner plays dirty, trying to get Adam and Rut's cars to overheat with constant starting and stopping. Adam is in full New York driver mode, delivering a threat about mail being delivered somewhere Tanner doesn't want it. At their second stop - a creepy abandoned water park - the guys must lose their power steering before racing around a set course. Adam doesn't have that option on the Jeep, so Tanner and Rut decide to deprive him of his entire steering wheel. This move works in their favor early and often, as Adam takes out an entire tree head-on. His time is 1:43. Rut might have lost feeling in both his arms, but he smokes Adam with 0:52. Tanner still can't keep from going on about his launch even in a Civic, and still manages to go sideways in it, too. He wins, though, with a time of 0:41, and now he's up to an early 2-0 lead. If this were Vegas, we would advise you to put your money on Tanner Foust. Especially as Rut is forced to pull over not long after leaving the water park. Source: www.starpulse.com
