What a ton of fun, too -- being a suburbanite sans travel trailer or speedboat, there’s absolutely no reason I need 3 tons of Super Duty pickup in my life, but driving this F-250 for a few days almost makes me wish I had a reason to want one. Similarly, the inside is luxuriously appointed with amenities expected on a Lincoln -- heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, MyFord Touch infotainment at the ready … the F-250 Platinum really is capable of performing double duty unlike... Then the sheer size of the Super Duty and its very truck-like turning radius turns the experience hairy in a hurry, requiring a heavy dose of spotter-mirror expertise and a willingness to employ reverse on.
