Police Seek Trio in Connection to Identity Theft, Grand Larceny Case - Patch.com

Two men entered Otis Ford on 32 Montauk Highway on July 18 and entered into a contract to buy a black 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck worth almost $60,000, police said. When they left the dealership, the duo was picked up in a silver four-door sedan seen in the picture above, police said. The next day, the men returned and picked up the truck after they provided a cashier’s check for a portion of the car and financed the rest through Ford Motor Credit Corporation, police said. Further investigation revealed the two men stole the identity of a Texas resident, police said. One of the men claimed he was the grandfather of the other man and was buying the car for his grandson, according to police. The older man was described as 70-years-old and bald while the younger man was described as 25-years-old, with long hair worn in a ponytail, police said. Source: patch.com
