Wiles was traveling south in a 1999 Ford F-350 tow truck when he went off on the right, came back on the road, lost control and went off on the right again, Sharpe said. The wrecker slid sideways and overturned, partially ejecting Wiles, he said. Sharpe noted that Wiles wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. The wrecker was heavily damaged in the accident, which happened around 3:40 p. m. Traphill firefighters and first responders were called to the scene to assist Cherry Lane firefighters and first responders from Alleghany County. Source: www.journalpatriot.com
