Redmond DUII Arrest At Gunpoint - myCentralOregon.com
– Redmond Police Department Officers responded to the 1400 block of SW Canyon Drive last night at 10:15pm after receiving a reported of a single vehicle rollover motor vehicle crash. It was reported the driver of the crashed vehicle was fleeing the scene on foot, leaving passengers behind still in the vehicle. Officers arrived quickly and learned a citizen who had assisted the driver in getting out of the vehicle was actively chasing the suspect driver after the driver ran. The citizen caught up to the suspect and held the suspect “at gunpoint,” until Officers arrived and took the driver into custody. The investigation into the crash revealed Danley was driving southbound on SW Canyon Drive in a 1987 Ford F250 pickup when he hit a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle which was hit first was pushed forward into another vehicle and the second vehicle was then pushed into a third parked vehicle. Source: www.mycentraloregon.com
