Deputy Dustin Moffett was dispatched to a residence on CR 4805 in reference to an individual actively trespassing. Moffett spoke with the complainant who stated she was inside her residence when she heard the back door open and observed the suspect standing inside her house. Georgette Kim Bowen, 54, of Winnsboro was arrested for the offense of criminal trespass due to her remaining on the property after being asked by the property owner to leave. Bond was set at $1,000. Deputy Kevin Atkinson was dispatched to a residence on FM 852 for a child custody dispute. A woman stated she had brought her son to visit his father but found the man intoxicated. The woman did not wish to pursue charges against the man and requested only to be allowed to take the boy and leave. This case remains open and will be forwarded to CID once the woman’s statement is completed. Deputy Dustin Moffett was dispatched to a residence on CR 1885 in the Yantis area is response to a dog bite. The woman further stated the dog was accompanied by two other large dogs. The owner of the dog was instructed to place the dog into quarantine for a period of 10 days in accordance with state law. Source: kmoo.com
