OEM Ford crank shaft removed from a 2001 Ford 7.3l diesel. Crank is solid. Engine ran but had low compression on a couple cylinders. Engine held good oil pressure. Bearings were worn, but not worn out and still had life. Journals on crank are in very good shape. No major wear, nothing that will catch a finger nail. All bearings contact surfaces are very smooth. Engine sat in covered storage as a short block and there was some light surface rust on a counter balance section of the crank. Nothing that will affect function, but wanted to point it out. Crank was sprayed with oil, wrapped in jean material, wrapped in plastic wrap and then wrapped in tape. Stored in dry covered storage.
