Thirsty Thursday, Bark in the Park and a fireworks show highlight the Lexington Legends next-to-last homestand of 2015, which opens Tuesday night. The Legends, class A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, will take on the Rome Braves, class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, Tuesday through Friday. Tuesday, August 25: Legends vs. Rome, 7:05 p. m. Hot dogs are just 38 cents each on Tuesday nights in recognition of the Ford F-150 being the best-selling truck for the last 38 years. Wednesday, August 26: Legends vs. Rome, 7:05 p. m. Thursday, August 27: Legends vs. Rome, 7:05 p. m. It’s a Kentucky Ale Thirsty Thursday, and beer and Pepsi products will be on sale for one dollar each. Friday, August 28: Legends vs. Rome, 7:05 p. m. Friday is Shriners Hospital Create-A-Jersey Night. The Legends will wear jerseys designed by the winner of the create-a-jersey contest, Jack Koenig, a fifth-grader at the School of Creative and Performing Arts.
