Classic cars take the roads, local shows in New Hampshire - Chron.com

Visiting New Hampshire earlier this month, I had a few chances to check out some great classic cars and trucks and see what the east coast area had to offer at some local car shows. In a region where the winters drop to single digit temperatures or lower, classics are usually only brought out in the warmer summer months, making July the prime time to catch them on the road and at shows. My first stop was at a local Cruise Night in Newport, New Hampshire, held by the car club group called Car Nutz, who come together every Monday night in downtown Newport to hang out with one another and check out the rides. At one point they even held a raffle, giving away a full-size camper trailer to one lucky attendee. For a weekly local car show, it was a large array of cars, trucks and a few bikes, with a low-key vibe. The only requirement to be a Car Nutz is to be a Car Nut. Next, I went to Andover, New Hampshire, for a July 4th celebration that included a small car show, which was organized by a local car club, the Road Relics. Source: www.chron.com
