Police Beat: Troopers, Palmer make numerous arrests - Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman
August 8: Troopers arrested James McGee, 31, of Wasilla near the intersection of Hollywood Road and Vine Road. He had been contacted on July 31 while operating a 1993 blue Ford F150 that was later confirmed to be stolen. McGee was arrested for Vehicle Theft in the First Degree and Theft in the Second Degree and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial with bail set at $2,500. DISORDERLY CONDUCT. AUGUST 1: At 9:20 p. m. , troopers responded to a residence at mile 83. 1 of the Parks Highway to investigate a stolen vehicle report, where they contacted Rose Walker, 50, of Willow. Walker was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Harassment in the First Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial on $500 bail. AUGUST 5: At approximately 6:13 p. m. , troopers responded to a vehicle collision at mile 59. 5 of the Parks Highway, where they found a white Nissan operated by Angelene Grossnickle, 33, of Wasilla, had collided with a 1994 Chevy pick-up operated... AUGUST 7: At approximately 7:10 p. m. , troopers stopped a 2004 black Dodge sedan near mile 43 of the Parks Highway and arrested Benjamin Hallberg, 36, of Wasilla on a charge of DUI.
