A 51-year-old man died Tuesday morning in a head-on collision in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana State Police said. The crash, police say, took the life of James McFadden III of Amite, La. A state police investigation shows the crash occurred as 18-year-old Michael Davidson of Slaughter, La. was traveling northbound on LA 67 in a 2000 Ford F-150. For unknown... Police say Davidson's vehicle sideswiped Loyd's vehicle in the southbound lane and his vehicle continued to travel northbound and struck McFadden's 2000 Ford Ranger head-on in the southbound lane. McFadden's passenger was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital with moderate to severe injuries. Loyd and the five passengers in her vehicle, ranging from age 5-35, were all wearing seatbelts and were transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital with moderate injuries.
