Savannah-Chatham police seeking truck in hit-and-run that injured Bluffton man - Savannah Morning News

Traffic investigators from the Savannah-Chatham police department are trying to identify the driver of a truck that struck a car and injured a Bluffton, S. C. , man Sunday morning. Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) officers recovered a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup that was abandoned by its driver after the 2:23 a. m. crash on Interstate 516 at the West Bay Street interchange. He was traveling east in a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass when the pickup approached from the rear and attempted to change lanes, striking the left fender of the car. The Oldsmobile then struck a concrete guardrail, said Julian Miller, police spokesman. MAIT continues to investigate the accident. Source: savannahnow.com
