Motorcyclist sent to hospital after collision with Ford F150 in Belle River - Windsor Star (blog)
A motorcyclist was transported to hospital with minor injuries after colliding with a Ford F150 at the intersection of Notre Dame and West Belle River Road on Sunday evening. According to witnesses, a man on a motorcycle was travelling on West Belle River Road and went through a stop sign into oncoming traffic after he said his brakes malfunctioned. “We were in our hot tub and we heard a bike come down West Belle River Road,” said Michelle St. John, who lives close to where the accident happened. John, a nursing student, quickly went over and attended to the injured man, who told her his brakes malfunctioned before crashing into the truck. “Apparently, his front brakes went, which prevented him from stopping,” she added. Traffic was blocked off but the road has since reopened. If you encounter abusive comments, click the "X" in the upper right corner of the comment box to report spam or abuse.
