A 1962 Ford F-100 Unibody that's Been in the Family 35 Years - Hot Rod Network

Whether it was used on the farm or used for regular transportation, the memories driving an old truck are hard to forget. And for all the folks out there who have sold your old truck, you're probably kicking yourself for it. Luckily, Ray and Cathy Richesin, from Maryville, Tennessee, don't have to go through that regret, as they still have "Ole Blue" a 1962 Ford... Ray bought the truck in 1981 for $900 and used it as a daily driver for several years. When the new wore off, Ray bought a newer truck, but thankfully, decided to keep the old F-100. It sat in storage until September of 2011, when Ray decided to restore the truck to its former glory. Like many restoration projects, Ray may have gotten carried away, as the truck turned out much better than it ever was in the '80s. With custom suspension, a super slick paintjob, and a very detailed custom interior, the truck is top notch, inside... You may not have guessed it, but the American Racing wheels that are on the truck are the same ones that rolled beneath it in the '80s.
