LAKE GEORGE | A Fort Edward man died Wednesday crash when a truck topped with a camper pulled into the path of the motorcycle he was riding in Lake George, police said. Warren County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at 4:21 p. m. Wednesday afternoon on Lake Shore Drive at the intersection of Lake View Drive. Colin Jones, 21, was operating a 2006 Yamaha R6 motorcycle when a 1999 Ford F-250 with a drop in camper driven by Laureat Labranche, 67, of Thetford Mines, Quebec, attempted to make a left turn onto Lake View Drive, police said. Jones struck the passenger side of the truck and was transported to Albany Medical Center via helicopter where he died, police said. Labranche and his passenger Ginette Rodrigue, 64, also of Thetford Mines, Quebec, were uninjured in the crash, police said. Source: poststar.com
