Performance tuning is more difficult on 1986-current Ford vehicles since the factory computer doesn't have a chip that can be easily replaced. To solve this issue, JET developed a plug-in module that externally attaches to a Ford vehicle's computer. The JET Ford Performance Module improves throttle response, acceleration, low-end torque and can add up to 30 horsepower. It optimizes the ignition spark advance, air/fuel ratios and transmission shifting for ultimate power and mileage gains and includes JET's exclusive Dynamic Spectrum Tuning (DST) for optimal performance across the entire power band (not just at full throttle).
