Ford applications still being accepted - The Courier-Journal
There's still time to put in an application for a full-time vehicle assembly technician job at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville. Kentucky Career Center's staff at 600 W. Cedar St. in downtown Louisville had taken about 2,500 applications by mid-day Tuesday for the $15. 78-an-hour entry-level positions. If the applicant passes an aptitude and skills test, a drug screening and background check follow. Ford is in the process of hiring to launch another crew at KTP, an effort that began 19 months ago with an $80 million investment to enlarge the facility and expand parts storage and assembly capacity.
