Joe Muer brings back Sunday brunch with a view - Detroit Free Press

Sunday brunch with a river view has returned to Joe Muer Seafood in the Renaissance Center downtown. The restaurant's upscale menu , essentially the same as last summer's, ranges from the Joe Muer Benedict with deviled crab and bacon to the Riverfront Waffle topped with bananas, candied walnuts, caramel sauce and Michigan maple syrup. Entrees are served with a generously filled bread basket, which includes several varieties of miniature muffins, slices of sweet breads, Danish and croissants. Sweet entrees are $12 and $14. A selection of salads and sandwiches, including a lobster roll ($19) and the Prime Muer Burger ($16), also are available for guests who want less breakfast-y dishes. The cocktail list includes nine brunch-friendly selections, including bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys ($22 and $25 respectively. That may become the pattern for the restaurant, said Joe Vicari, founder and CEO of the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group, which owns Joe Muer Seafood. Source: www.freep.com
