Kid Cudi announces Man on the Moon III to be recorded in 2015 - UPI.com

Hip hop artist Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi announced the final installment in his Man on the Moon trilogy of studio albums on Thursday, tweeting he expected to start and complete Man on the Moon III in 2015. "I can't/won't make MOTM3 without [Plain]... I can't create the magic y'all want with out their energy and genius to bounce off of. ". With in a day, all but Dot Da Genius had publicly replied to Kid Cudi, announcing their plans to reunite for what is being casually referred to as MOTM3. He released Man on Moon: The End of the Day in 2008 to support his 2007 Dot Da Genius-produced single "Day 'n' Night. " That album sold over 500,000 copies and inspired a sequel the following year, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Kid Cudi then took time off from solo recording to focus on touring and acting before releasing Indicud in 2013 and Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon in 2014. Neither is meant to be considered an installment in the man on the moon trilogy.
