This is an awesome original RC Industries ALUMINUM scattershield bellhousing with lower cover for Ford FE Big Block Engines. This is a true Scattershield designed to protect the driver in the event of a flywheel/clutch explosion. Make no mistake, this is a very heavy unit. You can see how thick it is in some of the pictures. These real deal aluminum scattershields were very rare when new and are even harder to find today. This would be an amazing addition to a Thunderbolt, Cobra, or other vintage Ford/Mercury high performance car. Don't Miss this amazing find!
This aluminum scattershield is in amazing original condition as shown. There are no breaks, modifications, or repairs to this unit. It has never been subject to an explosion. All threads are good and there is no pitting or corrosion. They really don't get nicer than this!
The last pictures show this scattershield bolted to the 62 Ford T10 transmission that can be found in my other listings. This scattershield is made for use with the smaller bolt pattern T1 transmissions and possibly early top loaders. The transmission is not included in this listing and can be found in my other listings.
