Karen Griffin jumped out of the rare 1926 Model Ford TT truck that pulled up Tuesday at the corner of Pierce and Merrill streets in downtown Birmingham and everyone’s face lit up with a smile. Victor Ventimiglia, former owner of Vic’s World Class Market, said the truck used to be on display at the Bloomfield Hills store. He decided to restore the truck and use it as a cruiser around town. According to Old Cars Weekly , more than 228,000 of the Model TT trucks rolled off the Ford assembly lines in 1926, and buyers could pick up one for a mere $365.
