EVANSVILLE - When E’ville Iron club member Garry Horn went looking for a new project car nearly 15 years ago, he knew he wanted a 1937 Ford. After all, the ‘37 Ford is a mainstay in the street rod scene — sleek, relatively easy to modify and in Horn’s particular case, sporting the all-important wife approval factor. “I knew my wife (Maria) liked ‘37 Fords so it was an easy decision to get this one,” he said. Underneath, the car boasts a small-block Chevrolet 350 engine, Ford 700R transmission, 8-inch Ford rear end and a Mustang front suspension. Source: www.courierpress.com
