PLEASE READ!!! This cluster came out of a gas burning 1996 2500. It absolutely will plug and play with a 2500/3500 diesel. You may be missing one maybe two lights in the dash, but it will absolutely work. This cluster has 18,990 ORIGINAL miles on it! Again, this cluster can be used with a 94-97 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 without modification. Just to be clear, this cluster came out of a gas burning truck. The only light you may not have is the grid heater light, and there may be a way to make that work. If you have any questions, just let me know!
Please ensure that your instrument cluster looks like this one. Ensure that any part numbers between your cluster and this one match up before purchasing this item. And please, look carefully at all of the pictures for damage or imperfections that you may not find acceptable for your application. Some instrument clusters may work if the part numbers are not the same, but it up to you, the consumer, to determine that. This instrument cluster came out of a running, driving vehicle before it was wrecked/parted out, and should be free from any defects that would affect the functionality of the unit. The clear plastic lens may have some scratches on it, especially if looked at under the right angle of light. However, I try very hard to capture any imperfections in the pictures. Most of the time, the clear plastic lens(es) can be transferred from one cluster to another fairly easily if this lens is not to your liking.
