NEW OEM Quality Heat-Shielded Heavy Gauge Block Heater Cord. Fits All Dodge Ram 3.0 L Diesel engines 2014 to Present OEM Block Heaters in Ram 1500 chassis.
Most 3.0L Ecodiesel engines have the block heater already installed, but many times the dealers did not order the engine block heater cable with the trucks.
The heater cord plugs into the block heater which is in the middle of the block underneath the passenger side exhaust manifold. There should be an orange cover on it that will need to be removed to access to the block heater. Easiest access to the block heater is by crawling underneath the truck on the passenger side behind the front tire.6 foot long power cord for 120V A, includes protector cap for plug end when not in use.
Made with a high quality flexible rubber sheathing and heat sheilding (not a cheap plastic covering that cracks in the cold)
This little cord can be a hard to find part ..... and worth every penny in a cold climate.
