Woman critical after fall from truck in Wilson - The Tennessean
A woman was in critical condition after she apparently fell out of the back of a pickup truck Sunday and hit her head on asphalt in Wilson County. Pamela Blair has been identified as the woman in the back of a 2001 Dodge Ram when the vehicle pulled out of a wooded area in the 2000 block of Africa Road, between Hartsville Pike and Highway 231, said Joey Cooper, Wilson County Emergency... The truck spun tires leaving grass on private property, and as the vehicle turned right onto Africa Road, the tires gaining traction on the asphalt caused Blair to fall onto the roadway, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Blair was bleeding badly from the head and was unresponsive, Cooper said. WEMA was called to the scene just before 7:15 p. m. Sunday, Cooper said. Source: www.tennessean.com
