The factory cooling system in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins was designed to adequately cool a stock engine. When turning up the power, the cooling systems efficiency begins to drop resulting in a lack of coolant flow, especially to the rear cylinders. This causes excessive pressure to build in the system which can lead to blowing freeze plugs out of the block or even pushing out the smaller diameter plugs under the valve cover. Fleece has designed their coolant bypass kit with an important secondary thermostat, that unlike other brands, works based on temperature instead of excessive pressure. This solves the problem before pressure becomes an issue by ensuring consistent temperatures across all six cylinders. Included with this kit are high quality O-ring fittings, AN hose connections with your choice of braided nylon or braided stainless steel hose to ensure a leak free installation.FEATURES:
