2016 Ram HDs Will Offer New Camera Option - PickupTrucks.com

I replaced my GM head unit with an aftermarket unit. It has two camera inputs accessible while driving. I don't need the cab mount camera for the trailer I use but I could mount another camera for a blind spot, front hitch or the ultimate curb-feeler. You just get more options with aftermarket units for less $$. I would prefer to have the F-150's "911 Assist" that, IMO, is not as invasive as OnStar. If my airbags go off, don't ask if I'm alright, just send the coordinates to EMS. I replaced my GM head unit with an aftermarket unit. It has two camera inputs accessible while driving. I hook up trailers on the farm on a daily basis and a camera makes it so much quicker and easier even for someone with a lot of experience. Source: news.pickuptrucks.com
