If you have been quoted hundreds or even thousands of dollars to replace your keys for your 1997-2002 Prelude, 1996-2004 Acura 3.5 RL, or 1996-2005 NSX, this service is for you!
All we need is the immobilizer module, which is located underneath the steering column on Prelude and 3.5 RL (not exactly sure where it is on the NS-X). If you wish for the key to be cut by us (no additional charge), please include the trunk lock, which is generally the easiest to remove, or any lock off the car which has the key code stamped on it. Key code will be a number between 5001-8442. It will be in VERY small type and may not be totally legible, and usually has another 4-character alphanumeric code stamped above or below it. We can only guarantee the key will be cut to work on the lock you provide, so if your ignition lock required a different key than the rest of your car, it won't work. Let us know if you have any reason to suspect this is the case!
Service includes ONE matching transponder key, cut to the lock you furnish if desired (no extra charge), or an uncut transponder blank if you'd rather have it cut locally.
