2005 Kleemann E-Class Is the Only Mercedes Allroad Estate - autoevolution
Say what you will about Audi and the "boring" cars they make, but they are the only ones in the premium market that create offroad wagons/estate… excluding Volvo maybe. We've always wondered why Mercedes or BMW don't have rivals for the A6 Allroad and today we found something interesting, but it's a decade old. With 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds, the E-Class crossover made by tuning company from Denmark has performance to match the fastest SUVs of 2015. It also rides 50 mm higher than the standard E-Class and this is done by means of engineering... This last piece is what really sells it as an alternative to the Audi A6 Allroad. Just like crossovers of today, it's got black plastic covers for the wheel arches, scuff plates at the front and rear and under-body protection for the engine and gearbox.
