2016 Audi Q3: Real World Review - Yahoo Autos (blog)
Inside the Q3 you’re granted a familiar Audi interface, with plenty of leather and (mostly) expensive-looking switchgear. In general, the Q3 isn’t like that pitcher of beer you get at the local dive bar, where you’d swear it’s half Coors Light, half water. Things change, however, in the engine department: A 2. 0-liter turbocharged four cylinder lurks, pushing 200 horsepower and 207 lb. -ft. of torque. If you’ve opted for the AWD Q3, that’ll get you to 60 mph in 8. 2 seconds (the FWD model is 0. 4 faster). More than anything, though, it feels nondescript, like asking for pancakes but forgoing Mrs. The engine note is your rudimentary four-cylinder thrum too, and it’s mixed with a six-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox that often gets lost when accelerating from cruising speeds. Lightening fast shifts matching Audi’s glorious RS7. A 0-60mph time of a scant 3. 9 seconds. In many ways it feels like driving a more polished version VW's Tiguan, which isn’t meant as a negative — perhaps it speaks more to the competency of the Q3’s impecunious brother.
