Thieves swipe pickup from driveway, flee from Warren police - WDIV Detroit

A WILD POLICE CHASE IN WARREN WITH TWO THIEVES SPEEDING THROUGH SUBDIVISIONS AT MORE THAN 75 MILES PER HOUR. IT ALL STARTED WITH A PICK UP TRUCK BEING RIPPED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WARREN POLICE HAVE LOOKED OVER EVERY INCH OF THIS DODGE RAM PICK UP LOOKING FOR PRINTS BECAUSE THIS IS THE END RESULT OF A POLICE CHASE. SHE WAS FAST ASLEEP UNTIL SHE HEARD HER OWN TRUCK START UP OUTSIDE HER OWN HOUSE. THIS IS WHERE RACHEL ALWAYS PARKS HER 2001 DODGE RAM IN THE LOT RIGHT NEXT TO HER HOME. REPORTER: AND THIS IS WHERE IT ENDED UP. A TOW YARD IN WARREN. AND THIS DASH CAM VIDEO SHOWS HOW HER TRUCK ENDED UP THAT WAY. AFTER THE THIEVES SPED OFF IT ONLY TOOK MINUTE FOR WARREN POLICE TO TRACK THE TRUCK DOWN NEAR NINE-MILE AN VAN DIKE. REPORTER: POLICE SAY THE DRIVER HIT 75 MILES PER HOUR SPEEDING THROUGH WARREN NEIGHBORHOODS ULTIMATELY LEADING POLICE TO DETROIT WHERE THE CAR CRASHED NEAR NEVADA AND CARRY. AND WHILE WARREN PD STAID ON THEIR TAIL T TWO BLACK MALES INSIDE GOT AWAY ON FOOT. RACHEL WILL GET HER TRUCK BACK BUT HER SENSE OF SECURITY IS RATTLED.
