This is a genuine OEM pulley for the BMW X5 4.8i AC belt tensioner.  It is made by the same company to the same quality as the pulley found on BMW part number: 11287546163.   It comes with a 1 year warranty.
This pulley fits the following vehicles:
2007-2008 X5 4.8i    2009-2010 X5 xDrive48i
BMW does not offer this pulley without the tensioner bracket which makes it much more expensive.  Replacing the only the pulley saves money and is less work.  There is no benefit in spending the extra time and money to replace the bracket/bolt/spacer which do not wear out.
This pulley comes with a new dust cover.   The orignal pulley can be removed by prying off the original dust cover with a screwdriver exposing a T50 bolt to remove the pulley and the rear pulley spacer.
The original bolt and rear bearing mount are reused and the new pulley is torqued to 22ft*lbs (30N*m) and the new cover is easily snapped on.
I recommend slotting the top of the adjustment bolt with a dremel to allow adjustment from the top side with a screwdriver.  By just replacing the pulley and slotting the adjuster bolt I estimate that I saved well over an hour of very frustrating work on my personal X5 4.8i.    This job is easier if the electric fan is removed.
After doing a lot of research and sourcing replacement OEM pulleys I am now selling them to help everyone avoid overpriced tensioner pulleys on the 4.8i.
Jam nut upgrade update:
I have heard of people who have had a broken tensioner bracket.  This occurs when the adjuster bolt slowly vibrates loose and then comes out.  It can happen even if installed properly as evidenced by cases where the locking bolt is still tight and the adjuster bolt has rattled out.
I have added a jam nut to the pulley kit that goes on the top side which is put over the adjuster bolt and tightened down securely locking it in place once the belt has been adjusted and the locking bolt has been...
