BMW Occupancy Weight Sensor Bypass with Installation Instructions
Is your airbag light is on due to a faulty weight sensor in the passenger seat? The passenger weight sensor mat can easily be damaged, usually by someone standing in the passenger seat on their knee. This simply bypass tool can be used to make the airbag system think that there is a good weight sensor connected and will turn the airbag light off. It will also allow the front passenger airbag to deploy in the even of a crash.
These can also be used if you are installing racing or aftermarket seats.
These simulators will come with installation instruction and color pictures. Installation can be done in 2 minutes! Simply disconnect the original connector under the passenger seat and plug in the bypass tool. Please see the picture below for an example of how they install.
