Original BMW E28 M5 Heated front sport seats. Beige in color.
Please fully read description and ask any questions you may have.
Completley refurbished and rewrapped in new leather and BMW M badges.
These are original (1988) M5 sport seats that were in rough condition prior the the rebuild.
Completley taken apart and repaired, recovered in new Beige leather skins (Lseat leather panels) with matching original stitching.
NEW SEAT HEATING ELMENTS FOR BOTH SEATS AND WIRED INTO THE ORIGINAL SEAT WIRING.
All motors cleaned, lubed and work perfectly.
ALL MOVEMENTS ARE WORKING CORRECTLY, INCLUDING THE HEADRESTS, LOWER THIGH SUPPORTS, RECLINE FORWARD AND BACK, SEAT BOTTOM TILT UP/DOWN, BACKREST TILT BACK AND FORWARD.
Bottom frames were repaired as they typically break the welds at the bottom of the thigh supports.
Black trim used for lower seats for the thigh support switrches, originals were damaged.
NOTE: When these were restored both seat bottom thigh bolster frames were brought in just a tiny bit from their original position as one bar was broken, this was done to give a "tighter feeling" fit when seated. As such, the seats tend to fit a slightly smaller frame driver/passenger. Buyers who are larger than a 38" waist will not fit comfortably, 36" waist and under these are great. Just installed in a car that is rarely driven, I'm only selling because I AM a 38" waist and they don't fit me like I wanted and selling only for this reason.
NOTE: These seats are NOT THE ORIGINAL NATUR leather color, thery are Beige and are very close to the e28 Pearl Beige.
The seat back covers have not yet been recovered and are still wrapped in the original Natur leather, the leather pieces to match the seats and to recover them are included for both seat backs. I was going to source Pearl Beige backs for them, I just hate to destroy a pr of Natur set.
