CONDITION:
This engine was taken from a running 2004 M3 Convertible with ~201k miles. The engine includes only what is shown in the photos. For example, the manifolds, ignition coils, and belt drive accessories are not included. Cylinder compression and leak-down test were performed on each cylinder, yielding the following results: Cylinder 1: 165psi/3% leakage, Cyl. 2: 160psi/3%, Cyl. 3: 170psi/3%, Cyl. 4: 160psi/3%, Cyl. 5: 140psi/22%, Cyl. 6: 165psi/3%. The reason for higher leakage on cylinder 5 is unknown. These results are congruent with the high mileage. It is a good a candidate for a rebuild but that is up to the buyer. When running, the engine sounded nice and was responsive. The oil pan and valve covers are included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed as described. This is a used original BMW part.
