This is a (set of 12) high quality silicone bronze manganese intake or Exhaust valve guides for your BMW 750i, 750il, e32, e38, 88-01 850ci, csi e31 90-99 fitted with the M70, M73, M73n, and S70 V12 engine . Since both intake and exhaust guides are the same for this engine, order 2 sets if your goal is to replace all guides. These guides are standard outside diameter and standard inside diameter. These are the same performance valve guides that our service shop has used since the early 80's for our "in house" engine building program. These valve guides exceed BMW factory specs in all aspects. If you are doing a simple valve job, or building a performance head these are the valve guides you will want to install. Factory BMW guide number is 11 12 1 709 860,

Installation note: Valve guides should be installed by a competent machine shop. Valve guides required to be press fit to factory interference specifications, and heads should be heated for expansion. Once installed Inner bore may need to be professionally honed to fit valves. Due to the age of the cylinder head of your vehicle. Confirming cylinder head Valve guide bore size is recommended.
