BMW’s new-for-2016 Track Handling package, an M Performance limited-slip diff, the M Performance package, and a smattering of various other M parts. Opt for the manual and you get the full-boat 332 lb-ft, while those who decline to shift for themselves make do with a less-lusty 317. Which is still 17 lb-ft better than stock. The power gains are due to software tweaks, a revised intake, and presumably, the M Performance engine cover. BMW claims gains of 0. 2 second to 60 mph and 0. 5 second for the 50-to-75 sprint.
