Takata Airbag Recall Now Affects 420000 BMW Cars In The U.S. - BMWBLOG (blog)
Now, BMW has expanded its recall list, bringing the total to 420,661 U. S. vehicles. BMW also said it will replace driver-side front air bags in about 140,000 BMW 3 Series vehicles in the U. S. from model years 2004 to 2006. BMW has said that none of its vehicles were involved in improper airbag deployments. When owners receive those notices, they’ll be able to take their vehicles to a BMW dealer, who will replace the front driver air bag module at no charge.
