2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country First Drive - Motor Trend

In a recent drive around Lake Tahoe, the V60 Cross Country proved it's still a sharp little wagon that should appeal to anyone's Scandinavian sensibilities. But that doesn't mean the V60 Cross Country isn't a good vehicle. Volvo also added the newest Haldex all-wheel-drive system that electronically manages the car's traction on any surface. Although the car is front-wheel-drive biased, the system can easily push all of the torque to the rear axle when necessary. It looks more like a normal wagon. However, the Cross Country offers 7. 9 inches of ground clearance, up 2. 6 inches from the regular V60. That additional ride height was never noticeable while driving. The ride was usually impressively quiet, though on some pavements, the special 18-inch NESO alloy wheels and tires let in lots of road noise. ) The V60 Cross Country, with its refreshed front, new honeycomb grille, and LED running lights below the headlamps, still looks good on the road. The blacked-out windows and B- and C-pillars, as well as the blackened mirrors, add to the car's good looks. If you liked the Volvo before, you'll like it now. Source: www.motortrend.com
