Vidalia man, mother allegedly kidnap 2 children - Natchez Democrat

VIDALIA — A Vidalia man and his mother were arrested Thursday after the man allegedly kidnapped two children from Rankin County. Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a notice to be on the look out for a 1992 Buick Regal with Louisiana license plates at approximately 1:30 a. m. Thursday. The look-out notice said the suspect, Bradley Logan, 27, of Vidalia, had kidnapped the children from their mother’s residence in Rankin County, Mayfield said. “The children may have been his children, but with a court disposition in Rankin County preventing him from taking them,” he said. ACSO deputies were able to stop the vehicle on Cranfield Road after a Franklin County sheriff’s deputy spotted the vehicle and followed it to the county line. After deputies identified Logan and the driver, Lori Logan, both allegedly admitted to having consumed alcohol and marijuana. Bradley Logan was charged in Adams County with escape of prisoners and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Lori Logan was released from the Adams County jail on a $500 bond Thursday.
