DETROIT, MI - Buick has expanded its Sport Touring trim to the 2016 LaCrosse, Regal and Verano model sedans. They join the Encore, for which Buick announced a Sport Touring package last month. The Encore ST and the new ST sedans will arrive at dealerships this fall. The LaCrosse ST and Regal ST will both have Apple CarPLay capability. "Buick is reaching an all-new generation of customers by reinventing itself in terms of design, function and capabilities," said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick. "These new ST models underscore the importance of design choices, while complementing the safety, refinement and connectivity technologies that are drawing new customers to Buick dealerships. In July, sales of all 2015 Buick vehicles grew 18 percent to 20,791 units in July, led by a 68 percent jump for the Encore to 6,826 units. The Enclave sold well too, rising 25 percent to 6,594 units, while sales of the LaCrosse fell 12 percent to 3,451 cars sold and the Verano slid 25 percent to 2,379 units. Source: www.mlive.com
