CRANKSHAFT IS HEAT TREATED (THERMAL CONVECTION OVEN - BETTER AND EASIER ON THE CASTING THAN YOUR STANDARD THERMAL OVEN), SHOT PEENED (STRESS RELIEVES), AND MACHINED A MAXIMUM OF .010 ON ROD & MAIN JOURNALS.  CRANKSHAFT IS THEN BALANCED IN A DIGITAL BALANCER.  NO WELDED CRANKSHAFT JOURNALS!

CONNECTING RODS ARE HEAT TREATED (THERMAL CONVECTION OVEN), SHOT PEENED (STRESS RELIEVES), & RECONDITIONED TO OEM SPECS.  THIS IS PART OF THE BLUEPRINT PROCESS.  MATCHED & BALANCED SET OF RODS.
