The first crash occurred at the intersection of Sweetwater Road at around 1:40 p. m. A 2001 Chevrolet Corvette and 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle were involved, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. “The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were injured and transported to Crenshaw County Hospital,” said Corporal Jess Thornton, public information officer for ALEA. It occurred at around 8:30 p. m. Traffic was still being diverted to Quail Tower Road at 10 p. m.
