Intoxicated men arrested in separate incidents and other Wyandotte police reports - Southgate News Herald

A 23-year-old resident was arrested at about 6:30 a. m. Aug. 8 after police were sent to the 500 block of Forest on a domestic call. The man’s mother said her son came home highly intoxicated and was causing a disturbance. When police arrived, the man said he wanted his keys. He agreed, but as the officer was speaking to the man’s mother, he grew agitated, cursing and calling his mother a vulgar name for calling police. When an officer asked him if he had any sharp objects on him that could poke or stab, the man said he had “tons of heroin needles” in his pocket. Officers were sent to the area of Biddle and Ford avenues at about 8:30 p. m. Aug. 8 to check on the report of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance at the Rite Aid store. While on their way, officers were told the man left the store and was heading toward the gas station across the street. He was arrested for having open intoxicants and on two local warrants for his arrest. The owner later called police to report he had found the missing tools. Source: www.thenewsherald.com
