MAHANOY CITY — A state fire marshal has classified the origin and cause of a fire that occurred at 12:55 a. m. Saturday at 89 Park Place Road, Mahanoy Township, as undetermined. Trooper Joseph W. Hall said firefighters from Mahanoy City and Delano Township responded to the structure fire at the home of Dina Quinn, 36, of Mahanoy City. MAHANOY CITY — Mahanoy City police filed charges against a 27-year-old New York man stemming from an incident at 1019 E. Mahanoy Ave. Police said Harold Ronl reported that his 2004 Chevrolet Venture was stolen during the nighttime hours and that his nephew from New York, Kennedy, was staying with him at the time. A subsequent investigation led to interviews with family members who reported Kennedy saying he took the vehicle and also said where he parked it in New York where it was later located, police said. State police at Lykens said Jason B. White, 43, of Williamstown, was driving a 2014 Subaru Outback north when he began to slow down to make a left turn into an area business but became distracted and did not see an oncoming 1991 Chevrolet van...
